MAAUN Group celebrates Northwest University vice chancellor Amina Bayero at 56

The MAAUN Group of Universities has congratulated the Vice Chancellor of Northwest University, Kano, Professor Amina Salihi Bayero, on the occasion of her 56th birthday, describing her as a distinguished academic whose contributions have helped advance higher education in Nigeria.

The tribute was conveyed in a statement issued on Thursday by the Founder of the MAAUN Group of Universities, Professor Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo.

Gwarzo, who also serves as President of the Association of Africa Private Universities (AAPU), praised Professor Bayero’s achievements in academia and university administration, noting that her leadership has continued to inspire students and colleagues alike.

“It is with immense gratitude to Almighty Allah that we congratulate a distinguished scholar and the first female Vice Chancellor of Northwest University, Kano, Professor Amina Salihi Bayero, on this auspicious occasion,” he said.
