The Managing Director of Nouvelle Perspective, Jim Okolo has been honoured with the fellowship of Forensic Guards Nigeria & Forensic Ambassadors Academy Africa, consolidating on his numerous awards of recognition.

The honour was conferred on him at the maiden edition of the National Forensic Science Debate Competition which took place at the Government Science Secondary School, Abuja.

Held under the theme, “Forensic Science is Better Taught in Tertiary Institutions than Secondary Schools”, the gathering was meant to raise awareness on the critical role of forensic science in the education sector.

In support of the organisation’s vision and activities, Okolo made a financial donation to Forensic Guards Nigeria and the Forensic Ambassadors Academy Africa to aid the advancement of their programmes.

He also presented separate donations to the students who participated in the debate competition, commending them for their courage, eloquence and commitment to academic excellence.

Okolo applauded the organisation for its foresight in introducing young people to the principles and relevance of forensic science.

According to him, exposing children to specialised fields of knowledge from an early age can broaden their horizons, inspire innovation and prepare them to contribute meaningfully to national development.

The MD further encouraged stakeholders in the education sector to support initiatives that promote practical learning and critical thinking among students.

He emphasised that investing in the intellectual growth of young people remains one of the most effective ways of securing a prosperous future for the country.

This comes after he was inducted as an implementation partner for the Nigeria Air Force (NAF) Directorate of Peace Support Operations last year.

The UN-accredited election observer was decorated at the NAF headquarters where he pledged to lend his voice in the discourse for a more peaceful world.

Alongside AUDA-NEPAD Nigeria, the European Union Delegation to Nigeria, and the Embassy Union Delegation to Nigeria, Nouvelle Perspective was recently accredited by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) as one of the organisations authorised to observe elections in Nigeria.
