Carloha extends after-sales package to new energy vehicles

Carloha Nigeria has expanded its CarlohaCare 6-6-7 after-sales package to cover its range of New Energy Vehicles (NEVs), a move aimed at addressing growing consumer concerns about maintenance, repairs , and long-term ownership support in the country’s emerging electric and hybrid vehicle market.

The company said the decision came as interest in NEVs continued to rise in Nigeria, despite lingering worries among buyers about repair costs, spare parts availability, and access to reliable after-sales service.

To tackle these concerns, Carloha Nigeria is extending its CarlohaCare 6-6-7 package, which offers a six-year vehicle warranty, six years of free scheduled servicing, and a seven-day repair guarantee.

Speaking in Lagos earlier in the week, Carloha Nigeria’s Marketing Director, Dexter Li, said under the programme, qualifying vehicles brought to a Carloha service centre are expected to be repaired within seven days.

Where repairs take longer, Li said customers are provided with a courtesy vehicle to minimise disruption and ensure continued mobility.

He added that the move demonstrated the company’s confidence in the durability and reliability of its electric and hybrid vehicle offerings, while helping to remove one of the key barriers to wider NEV adoption.

According to Li, customers should be able to embrace cleaner mobility technologies without concerns about maintenance support or vehicle downtime.

The company added that the expanded CarlohaCare programme was expected to strengthen consumer trust in electric and hybrid vehicles while helping to raise ownership standards across the Nigerian automotive industry.
