Signal Alliance Technology Holding (SATH) has marked its 30th anniversary with the rebranding of two of its subsidiaries, reaffirming its commitment to accelerating Africa’s digital transformation and strengthening its position as a leader in Nigeria’s technology industry.

The milestone celebration, held in Lagos under the theme, “Built for This. Ready for What’s Next,” brought together business leaders, technology stakeholders, clients, partners and the media to reflect on the company’s three decades of innovation and enterprise transformation, while unveiling its next phase of growth.

As part of its renewed strategy, CloudSA has been rebranded as SATH Cloud, while Signal Alliance Consulting will now operate as SATH Technology Consulting. The Group says these changes reflect its continued evolution and a more unified brand architecture to support growth, innovation, and greater value.

Speaking, Chair, SATH, Collins Onuegbu, described the anniversary as a defining moment in the company’s history.

“Thirty years ago, we set out with a simple but ambitious goal: to help organisations unlock the power of technology. Today, we celebrate not just longevity, but the impact we have made, the relationships we have built, and the opportunities that lie ahead,” he said.

Onuegbu said innovation, strategic partnerships, technical excellence and an unwavering focus on customer success have driven their sustained growth.

He noted that Nigeria was one of the early adopters of Artificial Intelligence in Nigeria which is rapidly shaping how industries operate, and they were at the forefront of this.

Established in 1996, the group has evolved from a tech solutions provider into a diversified holding company. Today, it operates through specialised businesses delivering digital transformation, cloud services, technology consulting, enterprise infrastructure, cybersecurity, managed services and IT strategy across sectors including financial services, telecommunications, oil and gas, manufacturing, healthcare, education, retail and the public sector.

Onuegbu said the new identities would strengthen alignment across its businesses while reinforcing a shared vision for the future. Under the new structure, SATH Cloud will continue providing cloud infrastructure, managed services and digital transformation solutions that help organisations become more agile, secure and efficient. SATH Technology Consulting will focus on strategic advisory, business transformation, enterprise architecture, technology strategy and digital innovation to help organisations navigate increasingly complex business environments.

Managing Director, SATH Cloud, Busola Komolafe, said the new identity reflects both continuity and ambition. “While our name is changing, our commitment to helping clients leverage cloud technologies to accelerate growth and transformation remains stronger than ever. SATH Cloud reflects who we are today and where we are headed tomorrow,” she said.

Similarly, Managing Director, SATH Technology Consulting, Kenneth Ufomba, said the rebranding better reflects their strategic role in helping organisations align technology with business objectives.

Onuegbu said their priorities include expanding its cloud and managed services capabilities, strengthening technology consulting, investing in emerging technologies and talent development, deepening strategic partnerships and delivering measurable value to clients across Africa.

“As technology continues to reshape industries and economies, we remain focused on helping organisations embrace innovation, navigate change and unlock new opportunities through technology,” he said.

“My job is to build the ecosystem, and this is measured by the number of companies in the inner and outer circle, our subsidiaries and affiliates in Nigeria and the rest of Africa.”

Speaking on how technology is creating new opportunities and careers, he said businesses and staff must adapt and evolve to survive. He noted that AI as it is today might not take over jobs from humans, adding that lack of good jobs is a bigger threat to Nigeria’s industrialisation goals compared to the fear of AI taking over jobs.
