Testimony of the Lord’s doing: From rags to riches

Testifiers in a queue to testify what God has done for them at Mgbidi 2026 Crusade, titled: “What God has determined shall be done,”held recently at The Chosen International Secondary School Complex, Mgbidi, Imo State.

My name is Christian Chimezie. I reside at Okeafa, Lagos. I became a member of The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministries in 2005. I came to the church because I had serious issues with my business. My business at the initial stage was flourishing, suddenly everything nose-dived; I could not make ends meet again. Because of that, I became a beggar and was going about looking for help. So, this led me to a friend and I asked him to help me raise money, so that, I could start my business again.

Surprisingly, the friend I was relying on said, he did not have anything, but he would direct me to a place where things will be alright for me. I thought he would direct me to where I would borrow money, but he said l should go to Ijesha.

He showed me how to get to my destination and l arrived here that day. I still remembered vividly that fateful day on October 1, 2005, the church was having men’s programme.

As I came in and sat down, I listened to the G.O.’s message. I was very much fascinated by the message, so l continued to come.

One day, I had the opportunity to meet G.O. one-on-one and told him that I had nothing doing and that my children were all in secondary school. He asked if I had paid my tithe, l said l had nothing doing. So, he brought one finger, pointed it on my forehead and said: “Go and prosper!”

When I went to my shop that day, because I still had my shop, but somehow it was empty, even the remaining small goods there, no one asked me how much, let alone to buy. But after the G.O.’s prayer that day, I got to my shop and sold goods worth N4,500:00. The money was like one million to me; so, I started thinking of what I would do with the money since G.O. said l should not sell alcohol again.

One day, I went to Abule- Egba, and used that N4,500 to buy pull-overs (sweaters) because that year, there was this chilling cold that Nigerians experienced. From N4,500, God helped me, and the money increased to N200,000. Not long, l started traveling to Togo to buy shoes. Oooh, God of Chosen is so great! While, I was in that wilderness experience, my unpaid children’s school fees rose to N150,000. God helped me, l cleared my debt. People were coming from different places to patronise my shoe business. Praise the Lord!
