For Fresh Tag Entertainment (F.T.E.), the journey began long before boardrooms, recording studios, or streaming platforms. It started in a secondary school classroom, where founder Bubbling and a group of friends formed a music collective driven by a shared passion for creativity and self-expression.

The group quickly built a following within its community, but like many youthful ambitions, life eventually pulled its members in different directions. Following graduation in 2009, the collective disbanded as members relocated to different countries. While the group came to an end, the vision behind it did not.

In 2014, after graduating from Kennesaw State University, Bubbling revived Fresh Tag alongside his brothers, Moschiino and DZ, and longtime collaborator Laparo, transforming what had once been a school collective into an independent Nigerian music and entertainment company.

Since then, Fresh Tag Entertainment has steadily established itself as a home for original music and emerging creative talent. Through releases including My Omo, Mikano, and It’s All About The Ego, the company has continued to carve out a distinctive identity rooted in authentic storytelling and contemporary Nigerian sound.

Today, Fresh Tag Entertainment has grown beyond the traditional model of a record label. Headquartered in Lekki, Lagos, the company now operates a fully integrated music production and content production studio, bringing together recording, music production, visual storytelling, and content creation within one creative hub. The expansion reflects a broader vision of providing artists with the infrastructure and creative environment needed to develop their craft while retaining ownership of their narratives.

For the team behind Fresh Tag, success is measured not only by chart performance or streaming numbers but by the ability to create work that resonates with audiences and contributes meaningfully to the evolution of African music and culture.
