eTranzact International Plc and the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN) have partnered to convene a town hall aimed at strengthening financial literacy, digital inclusion and business growth among micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
The forum, scheduled for August 5, 2026, in Lagos, will bring together entrepreneurs, policymakers, financial institutions and fintech experts to discuss practical ways businesses can improve financial management, adopt digital payment solutions and access growth opportunities in an increasingly digital economy.
The initiative forms part of eTranzact’s efforts to support Nigerian businesses through technology. The company said it has continued to invest in the country’s enterprise ecosystem, including the launch of the AI Readiness Report for Nigerian SMEs in 2025 in partnership with the Enterprise Development Centre of Pan Atlantic University.
The report was designed to provide insights into how small businesses can prepare for and benefit from emerging technologies.
The company also said its digital business solution, Credo, has continued to help MSMEs simplify collections, manage payments and improve business operations.
Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of eTranzact International Plc, Niyi Toluwalope, said the town hall aligns with the company’s vision of promoting financial freedom through technology while helping businesses build stronger financial capacity.
“At eTranzact, we believe that when businesses have the right knowledge, the right technology and access to the right financial tools, they are better positioned to grow and create lasting economic value. This Town Hall is another step in our journey of helping Nigerian MSMEs succeed,” he said.
According to him, solutions such as Credo and strategic collaborations are providing entrepreneurs with practical tools that simplify payments, strengthen financial management and create new opportunities for growth in the digital economy.
Director-General and Chief Executive Officer of SMEDAN, Charles Odii, said the collaboration would equip Nigerian entrepreneurs with practical knowledge, improve their financial capability and expand their access to digital solutions that support sustainable business growth.
According to the organisers, the event will feature expert sessions, interactive discussions and live demonstrations of digital business solutions. Participation is open to MSMEs, business associations, financial institutions, fintech companies and other stakeholders across Nigeria’s enterprise ecosystem.
