The Kwara State governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Rt Hon. Engr. Yakubu Danladi-Salihu, has joined other Nigerians to wish the Scion of the late first Northern Nigerian lawyer and pioneer Mutawali of Ilorin, Dr.Alimi AbdulRazaq a glorious 70th birthday celebrations.

 

He prayed that the celebration be filled with Allah’s “endless mercy, blessings and guidance as he continues to serve humanity.”

 

Commending the Mutawali of Ilorin’s several achievements, Danladi-Salihu described the celebrant as one of Nigeria’s finest.

 

Dr. AbdulRazaq, the Scion of the late first Northern Nigerian lawyer and pioneer Mutawali of Ilorin is the first PhD holder in law from the Emirate.

 

A statement by his Chief Press Secretary (CPS), Sheu Abdulkadir Yusuf, on Friday, described AbdulRazaq as a community leader, eminent lawyer, human capital development enthusiast and a successful businessman who has made remarkable contributions to nation-building.

 

He also praised Alimi’s remarkable records in private and public spheres “where he served meritoriously, especially his significant contributions to community development that earned him the prestigious title of the Mutawali of Ilorin Emirate,” he said.

 

The APC governorship candidate wishes the Mutawali of Ilorin a happy birthday filled with Allah’s endless mercy, blessings and guidance as he continues to serve humanity.
