Team Gbaja, a political support group backing President Bola Tinubu and the Chief of Staff to the President, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, has launched a sensitisation and mobilisation campaign in the North Central, urging Nigerians to sustain support for the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

 

Speaking at the North Central Zonal Sensitisation and Mobilisation Rally yesterday, the National Spokesperson of Team Gbaja, Tabuko Kennedy, said the Tinubu administration had recorded significant achievements in infrastructure, security, education and economic reforms, which he said justified continued public support.

 

Kennedy cited the successful rescue of abducted pupils and teachers from Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State without payment of ransom, the ongoing Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway project, the implementation of the student loan scheme, and increased investment in road infrastructure across the six geopolitical zones as evidence of progress under the current administration.

 

He also highlighted reforms in the oil and gas sector, saying improved local refining capacity, alongside enhanced collaboration among security agencies in tackling terrorism, banditry and kidnapping, reflected the government’s commitment to national development.

 

While calling on supporters to remain peaceful and law-abiding, Kennedy said the rally was aimed at promoting civic participation rather than political confrontation.

 

“We are here because we believe in democracy, peaceful participation and the continued progress of our nation. We are not here to insult anyone or threaten anyone. We are here to demonstrate our constitutional right to freedom of expression and association,” he said.

 

He urged members of Team Gbaja to return to their communities and continue mobilising citizens through peaceful engagement, voter participation and constructive dialogue, stressing that national unity and democratic values should remain paramount.
