The campaign organization of Barrister Mahdi Aliyu Gusau has debunked reports claiming that the African Democratic Congress (ADC), governorship candidate has withdrawn from the forthcoming Zamfara State governorship election, describing the rumours as false and misleading.

In a statement issued by the Media Aide and Spokesperson of the Barrister Mahdi Aliyu Gusau’s Campaign Organization, Abubakar Sulaiman, said the campaign Mahdi Gusau remains the duly recognized aspirant and authentic ADC governorship candidate in the State, stressing that he has neither stepped down nor abandoned his ambition to contest the election.

The statement described the reports as the handiwork of mischief-makers and urged the public to disregard them, reaffirming that the candidate remains fully committed to presenting his vision for a greater to the electorate.

It also advised members of the public to rely only on official communications from the campaign organization for accurate information regarding the status of the candidate.
