**Uzodimma to lead inauguration of Toronto-based coordinators

The Director-General of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors (RHA), Senator Hope Uzodimma, will lead top officials of the organisation to the official inauguration of the RHA Diaspora Arise Platform and Diaspora Youth Directorate Coordinators in Toronto, Canada, as part of efforts to deepen global support for President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

The event, organised by the Directorate of Youth of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, is scheduled to take place on Monday, August 10, 2026, at the Ontario Investment and Trade Centre, Toronto.

According to Dr Mustapha Abdullahi, the inauguration marks a significant step in expanding the organisation’s global network by mobilising young Nigerians in the diaspora to contribute to national development, youth leadership, civic engagement and economic transformation.

The initiative is also intended to strengthen support for President Tinubu’s policies and programmes while positioning Nigerians abroad as critical stakeholders in advancing the administration’s vision for a more prosperous and globally competitive nation.

The RHA said the Diaspora Youth Platform aligns with the President’s commitment to harnessing Nigeria’s human capital for sustainable development, noting that the country’s greatest asset remains the resilience, innovation and entrepreneurial spirit of its people.

It observed that Nigerians in the diaspora continue to distinguish themselves across diverse sectors, including business, technology, medicine, academia and public service, adding that the new platform would provide a structured avenue for their greater participation in national affairs.

According to the organisation, the inauguration also reflects its determination to build a global network of Nigerians committed to promoting good governance, youth empowerment, national unity and economic growth.

Upon inauguration, the diaspora coordinators will receive mobilisation tools and operational resources, including personalised recruitment codes, QR-enabled registration links, digital mobilisation toolkits and performance-monitoring dashboards to support their activities.

As part of their initial performance benchmarks, each coordinator is expected to recruit at least 50 verified members within the first 30 days of assuming office.

The RHA Youth Directorate reaffirmed its commitment to excellence, integrity and inclusive leadership, saying it would continue to promote greater youth participation in national development in line with the objectives of the Renewed Hope Agenda.

The organisation also expressed appreciation to Nigerian youths at home and in the diaspora for their continued support for the Tinubu administration, urging them to remain united and committed to advancing Nigeria’s development aspirations.
