At the Nigeria Fintech Forum 2026, Nosh proudly joined the conversations shaping the future of fintech as a Platinum Sponsor. Held at The Civic Centre, Lagos, the event brought together leading voices from across the ecosystem to discuss the industry’s biggest opportunities and challenges. It was an opportunity for Nosh to share its perspective on building products that make everyday financial transactions simpler across Nigeria and Ghana.
Representing Nosh were Tosin Akintibu, Product Manager, who delivered a keynote presentation on simplifying digital spending, and Mosadoluwa Hezekiah, Marketing Manager, who joined a panel discussion on growth strategies within the evolving fintech landscape.
Building financial products around customer needs

During her keynote session, Akintibu highlighted the importance of designing fintech solutions around the real financial behaviours and needs of users.
She explained that while access to digital financial tools has expanded significantly, the next challenge for the industry is making those tools easier and more practical for everyday use.
Through its platform, Nosh enables users to trade gift cards, convert cryptocurrencies to local currency, pay bills, purchase eSIMs, and book flights.
According to Akintibu, fintech companies should focus on reducing complexity for customers rather than adding unnecessary features to products.
“The real gap in fintech isn’t getting people digital assets, it’s making those assets usable in daily life.”
She added:
“Our job is to remove friction, not add features for the sake of it. Every decision we make on the product side starts with one question: does this make spending simpler for our users?”
The role of trust in sustainable fintech growth

Speaking during a panel session on fintech growth, Hezekiah addressed how companies are adapting as the industry moves beyond a focus on customer acquisition alone.
He noted that long-term growth depends on creating products and experiences that encourage users to return and build confidence in digital platforms.
“Acquisition got us in the door, but sustainable growth means designing for retention and lifetime value from day one. We’re increasingly building campaigns and product touchpoints that convert first-time users into loyal, repeat users, because in this market, trust compounds.”
He also highlighted the relationship between compliance and customer confidence, noting that security and regulatory alignment are increasingly important factors in how users choose financial platforms.
“Customers don’t want to hear ‘compliance’ as a caveat; they want to feel it as reliability. We talk about security, licensing, and regulatory alignment as part of what makes Nosh a platform people can trust with their money, not as fine print that slows things down.”
According to Hezekiah, the technology powering fintech platforms should ultimately serve the customer experience.
“Customers don’t wake up thinking about our infrastructure. They notice when a transaction is instant, when a rate is fair, and when support actually helps.”
Connecting with the fintech community

In addition to its participation on stage, Nosh engaged attendees through its exhibition booth, where visitors interacted with the team and learned more about the platform’s services.
The company also hosted a raffle draw, giving attendees the opportunity to win three MacBook Neos, four Redmi 15 devices, four Redmi Note 15 devices, alongside branded merchandise.
A Nosh spokesperson said the company’s participation reflected its commitment to contributing to conversations shaping the future of financial services.
“We are really proud to be a Platinum sponsor at Fintech Forum 2026. Events like this give us the opportunity to connect directly with the community we build for, exchange ideas with peers shaping the industry, and celebrate our users in person.”
As digital financial adoption continues across Nigeria and Ghana, Nosh says it remains focused on building solutions that make everyday transactions simpler, faster, and more accessible.
