The National Youth Service Corps on Monday fixed Thursday, September 3, as the official pass-out date for members of the 2025 Batch ‘B’ Stream II.

In a statement signed by Director of Information and Public Relations Caroline Embu and posted on the scheme’s official X account, the NYSC management said the corps members would complete their one-year national service on that date.

“Certificates of National Service would be distributed to Corps Members on the scheduled date at the Local Government level,” the statement said. It urged all corps members, employers and other stakeholders to take note of the date.

The batch began its service after orientation courses that opened nationwide on September 24, 2025, with registration running through September 26 and the three-week camp closing on October 14, 2025 (Kwara State operated a slightly later schedule). The service year included primary assignments and community development activities across the country.

Pass-out ceremonies for NYSC batches are typically conducted as low-key events at the local government level rather than large parades. The Director-General of the scheme is Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu.

The announcement comes weeks after the 2025 Batch ‘B’ Stream I members completed their service on July 9.
