Seaman’s Schnapps has been named the Official Prayer Drink Partner for the inaugural Itsekiri Global Homecoming 2026 (IGHC), scheduled to hold in Warri, Delta State, from August 16 to August 22, 2026.

The partnership underscores Seaman’s Schnapps’ commitment to celebrating Nigeria’s rich cultural heritage and supporting platforms that promote tradition, unity and community development.

The Itsekiri Global Homecoming 2026 is a landmark gathering of sons, daughters and friends of the Iwere Nation, organised under the authority of His Majesty, Ogiame Atuwatse III, CFR, the Olu of Warri, and under the auspices of The Royal Order of Iwere (ROI).

The week-long celebration will provide an opportunity for members of the global Itsekiri diaspora to reconnect with their heritage, celebrate ancestral culture and explore initiatives aimed at driving socio-economic development across the Warri Kingdom. The homecoming will also feature activities marking the fifth coronation anniversary of His Majesty, the Olu of Warri.

As the Official Prayer Drink Partner, Seaman’s Schnapps will be central to traditional prayer and blessing moments, royal homage ceremonies and hospitality activities throughout the homecoming week.

The brand’s presence will cut across major events, including the Airport Welcome Troupe, Development Forum, Cultural Day and Royal Warri River Regatta. A dedicated “Seaman’s Moment” will also feature traditional cultural performances and royal tributes at the Palace as part of activities marking the Olu of Warri’s coronation anniversary.
