The Imole Campaign Council (TICC), in charge of Governor Ademola Adeleke’s re-election, on Wednesday told Osun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to apologise to Osun people over Senator Francis Fadahunsi’s recent video where he allegedly issued threat against Accord members in Ilesa.

TICC argued that instead defending Fadahunsi, the party should bury its head in shame for allegedly promoting intimidation, violence and needless killings of the people in the state.

This was contained in a statement by a media aide to Governor Ademola Adeleke and member, media and publicity committee of TICC, Sola Isola.

It said APC as and Fadahunsi owe the people of Osun State an apology that one its stalwarts was threatening to kill members and supporters of Accord, describing the development reckless disregard for rule of law.

According to the statement, “for all the allegations they have raised against Accord, if they have evidence, they are supposed to go to the Police with such evidence and not result in a media trial.

“Several Accord members have been killed and justice is yet to served. In Ikire, the son of our women leader was killed, In Ijebu-jesha an Accord member, Rogba was also murdered, they’ll claim its a cult clash, but the wife specifically mentioned the killers of her husband and even in Ilobu a 14 year old was killed for putting on a Yellow Cap.

“What Senator Fadahunsi said in that video has indeed exposed the plan of Osun APC in the next coming days. To harrass, embarass and humiliated Accord member in collaboration with the police.

“The insinuation that Governor Ademola Adeleke invented terrorism is nothing but ridiculous, its APC branded buses we have seen going round town and shooting people as they deem fit. We also have a situation in Ilesa where thugs in APC branded buses were abducting a young man, after we raised alarm, the Police said they had rescued the victims but we don’t know who the abductors and yet Police detained the victim, “the statement concluded.
