The Zamfara State Head of Service, Malam Yakubu Sani Haidara has inaugurated a 14 man committee on implementation of of financial benefit of promotions for the State civil servants.

He also constituted another 11 member committee on the effective redeployment of rationalized staff of the ministry of Education, Science and Technology

The Head of Service said that all civil servants, as a result of duly earned promotions and effective rationalization of Staff of the Ministry of education, Science and technology will be considered.

The inauguration of the Committees are part of the effort and commitment of the State Government towards improving workers welfare.

He observed that, for over three decades, workers in the State were not paid financial benefit after obtaining promotions.

Haidara further lamented that some civil servants in the State have one, two or 3-promotions which were not accompany with payments of financial benefits, which he said informed the inauguration of the committees to ensure that all civil servants will enjoy their promotions in accordance with civil service rules.

The Head of service stressed that the State Government will continue its commitment to promoting the welfare, motivation and productivity of the entire workforce of the State under the able leadership of the most friendly workers Governor Dauda Lawal.
