The All Progressives Congress (APC) has defeated the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and Accord in the polling unit where former Osun State governor and National Secretary of the ADC, Rauf Aregbesola, usually votes.

At Ward 008, Unit 001, Ifofin, Ilesa East Local Government Area of Osun State, the APC governorship candidate, Bola Oyebamiji, polled 255 votes to win the unit.

Accord secured 43 votes, while the ADC garnered 13 votes.

The result represents a setback for the ADC in the polling unit of its National Secretary, who served as governor of Osun State from 2010 to 2018.
