A pro-Tinubu support group within the All Progressives Congress (APC), BTO4PBAT, has set a target of securing at least 90 per cent of votes for President Bola Tinubu in Ondo State during the 2027 general elections.

With the group also vowing to deliver decisive victories for all APC candidates across the state, it stated that it has commenced a grassroots mobilisation drive in all the 18 local council areas, 203 wards and 3,933 polling units in the state.

In a statement issued by its director general, Adesuyi Adojutelegan, he said BTO4PBA has positioned itself as a formidable force within the APC’s Ondo State structure, leveraging what it describes as the minister of interior, Tunji-Ojo’s, grassroots appeal and performance in public office.

The group drew the attention of Tinubu, the APC National Chairman Professor Nentawe Yilwatda Goshwe, members of the party’s National Working Committee and leaders of the party across the country to what it described as the strategic importance of the political structure associated with Tunji-Ojo in the state.

According to the group, Tunji-Ojo has emerged as one of the most influential political figures within the APC in the state through his performance in public office, accessibility and sustained engagement with the grassroots.

He said, “His record of public service, commitment to human development and relationship with the people had strengthened confidence in the APC and enhanced support for Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.”

The group added that the minister’s political structure remained a formidable mobilisation platform capable of translating the achievements of the Tinubu administration into electoral support across Ondo State.

Adojutelegan maintained that Tunji-Ojo’s leadership had helped strengthen the progressive political family while giving many party members a renewed sense of inclusion, purpose and direction.

“Our mandate is clear: one movement. One mandate. Total victory for the APC. Operation Deliver Your Polling Unit for the APC.

“The 90 per cent vote target was not merely aspirational but part of an organised political strategy built around grassroots participation, party unity and measurable electoral outcomes.

“Tunji-Ojo’s political stock has risen considerably since his appointment as minister of interior. In the 2024 Ondo governorship election, he delivered his home base of Akoko North West with 81.2 per cent of the vote for the APC, the highest bloc recorded by any political actor across all 18 local government areas in the state.

“His influence extends beyond electoral numbers; he has personally funded digital technology hubs in all 18 LGAs, supplied learning materials to over 120,000 primary school pupils, and donated 14 ambulances to health centres across the state.

The group further described Tunji-Ojo as a symbol of the Renewed Hope Agenda in Ondo State, attributing his political influence to performance, service, accessibility and goodwill among the people.

The group, which reaffirmed its loyalty to Tinubu and confidence in the national leadership of the APC, pledged to continue strengthening the party, promoting the achievements of the Tinubu administration and intensifying grassroots mobilisation ahead of the polls.
