Group graduates new cohort, urges focus on execution

Graduates

Pertinence Group has graduated another cohort of its Enterprise Training and Resource Centre (ETRAC), with its leadership charging the new graduates to combine competence with strong character, continuous learning and decisive execution to achieve sustainable success.

The call was made at the graduation ceremony for participants of the Growth Mastery Program (GMP) and Advanced Realtor Certification Program (ARCP), where speakers stressed the need for professionals and entrepreneurs to translate training into measurable business and leadership outcomes.

Established as Pertinence Group’s flagship learning and capacity development institution, ETRAC provides entrepreneurs, professionals and business leaders with practical knowledge, strategic insight and execution skills to navigate an increasingly competitive business environment.

The 12-week GMP equipped entrepreneurs, business owners, and professionals with skills in sustainable business growth, leadership, and execution through structured learning, business simulations, practical projects, and performance-driven coaching.

Speaking at the ceremony, Co-founder of Pertinence Group, Dr Sunday Olorunsheyi, identified competence, capacity, commitment and character as critical pillars of sustainable business and leadership success.

Olorunsheyi said competence and capacity could create opportunities for individuals, but character remained essential to sustaining success and building trust over time.

He urged the graduates to take personal responsibility for their growth, build meaningful relationships, create value and continually improve their capacity rather than become complacent after completing the programmes.

Another Co-founder, Wisdom Ezekiel, challenged the graduates to develop a solution-oriented mindset, stressing that challenges should be carefully analysed before decisions were taken.

He said knowledge would only create meaningful impact when converted into action, urging the graduates to continually update their skills, identify the resources required to implement their ideas and develop clear execution plans.

General Manager, Pertinence Group, Seun Odebowale, congratulated the graduates and challenged them to ensure that their ETRAC experience translated into measurable results and sustained professional and business success.

Some of the graduates also shared testimonials on how the programmes had reshaped their perspectives, strengthened their businesses and equipped them with practical tools for further development.
