CT Productions to Launch FOCUS Insights in Nigeria

Camella

Media and communications company, CT Productions, is set to launch FOCUS Insights, a new editorial and market-intelligence platform designed to provide original research, market analysis and executive perspectives on issues shaping Nigeria and other emerging markets.

The launch coincides with the company’s 10th anniversary of international operations and marks the next phase of its FOCUS platform, which has spent the past eight years covering markets, industries, investments and leadership across Africa and Europe.

Airtel Tenancy

According to the company, FOCUS Insights will combine original research, data-led analysis, white papers, interviews with business leaders and policymakers, sector deep dives and curated editorial roundtables.

Rather than examining industries in isolation, the platform will focus on the wider ecosystems connecting policy, investment, business and communities.

The company said the objective is to make complex economic developments more accessible by combining data with expert perspectives, real-world experience and the human stories behind economic change.

Ten years of experience

CT Productions said the new initiative draws on its decade of experience across Nigeria and other African markets, as well as its partnerships with international media and intelligence organisations.

For five years, the company served as the licensed publisher in Nigeria of The World Ahead, The Economist’s annual publication examining trends expected to shape the year ahead.

It also organised events featuring research and analysis from the Economist Intelligence Unit, bringing senior business leaders, investors and policymakers together to discuss emerging economic trends.

The company said that experience helped shape the vision for FOCUS Insights.

Nigeria edition to launch later in 2026

Nigeria will be the first market covered under the new initiative, with FOCUS Insights Nigeria: The Next Horizon scheduled for launch later in 2026.

The special edition will examine Nigeria’s economy at what CT Productions described as a defining moment, focusing on investment flows, ongoing reforms and sectors that could drive the country’s next phase of growth.

Areas to be examined include energy and power, fintech and the digital economy, agriculture and food security, infrastructure and logistics, manufacturing and trade, governance and public policy.

The publication will feature original analysis and a proprietary Nigeria Outlook Index, alongside contributions from senior executives, investors, entrepreneurs and policymakers.

A curated editorial roundtable in Lagos will also bring public- and private-sector leaders together to discuss the country’s economic outlook, with the outcomes incorporated into the publication.

Speaking on the initiative, CT Productions Founder and Managing Director, Camelia Oros Tsarouchis, said the platform was inspired by the company’s experience working across markets and engaging with the people shaping them.

“FOCUS Insights is born from everything we have learned through FOCUS, through our international partnerships and, most importantly, through the people and markets that have trusted us with their stories,” she said.

Tsarouchis said Nigeria was chosen as the first market because of its importance to the company’s journey and its position as one of Africa’s most dynamic economies.

“We do not want to look at Nigeria only through numbers or headlines. We want to understand the people making the decisions, the ecosystems connecting different sectors and the ideas that can shape the country’s next horizon,” she added.

Expansion across Africa and Europe

CT Productions said FOCUS Insights would form part of its broader effort to connect markets across continents by combining research, storytelling and perspectives from local stakeholders.

Following the launch of Nigeria: The Next Horizon, the platform is expected to expand into selected markets across Africa and Europe, building on CT Productions’ existing presence and experience in both regions.
