National Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Senator David Mark, will today inaugurate the Atiku Abubakar and Rotimi Amaechi presidential campaign council in Abuja.

Indeed, the yet-to-be-inaugurated campaign has described the Federal Government’s decision to reduce the price of petrol for only 30 days as a desperate, shameless and insulting attempt to bribe Nigerians ahead of the 2027 general election.

The ADC presidential campaign also declared the FG’s decision a gimmick that would not save the Tinubu administration from electoral rejection.

In a statement issued yesterday, the Special Adviser to the National Chairman on Media and Publicity, Kola Ologbondiyan, said the event would bring together leaders of the party and candidates participating in the 2027 General Elections.

According to him, all ADC leaders, governorship candidates, National Assembly candidates and State House of Assembly candidates are expected to attend the ceremony.
