The Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun, will on Saturday, October 17, flag off the 32nd Judiciary Sports Competition in Kaduna.
National Sports Association for Judiciary (NASAJ) organizes the Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN) sporting events yearly for staff of the judiciary across the states of the federation, including participants from both the state and federal judiciary arms.
The two-week tournament will run from October 16 to 29, 2026, and will feature judicial officers and staff from across the country.
The annual games, organised by NASAJ, are aimed at promoting fitness, unity and camaraderie within the Judiciary.
According to NASAJ President Noah Sunday, at a press briefing on Friday in Abuja, Competitors will participate in football, volleyball, handball, lawn tennis, table tennis, badminton, swimming, athletics, scrabble, chess, ayo and other sports.
NASAJ thanked the CJN for her support for sports development and welfare in the Judiciary, and commended the Kaduna State Government and the Local Organising Committee for preparations for this year’s edition.
The association president, Noah Sunday, also acknowledged the Akwa Ibom State Government for hosting the 31st edition in Uyo.
