The Board of Trustees of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) will on Thursday, October 15, hold its second national town hall meeting in Abuja to strengthen accountability, promote transparency and engage stakeholders on its impact on Nigeria’s tertiary education sector.
The meeting, to be chaired by the Board’s Chairman, Rt. Hon. Aminu Bello Masari, will take place at the Ladi Kwali Hall, Abuja Continental Hotel, at 10:00 a.m.
A statement issued by TETFund’s Director of Public Affairs, Abdulmumin Oniyangi, said the meeting is designed to deepen public understanding of the Fund’s mandate, showcase its achievements since establishment and provide a platform for direct engagement between its leadership and stakeholders.
Policymakers, academics, students, civil society organisations and members of the public are expected to participate in interactive sessions aimed at fostering dialogue on the Fund’s operations and contributions to tertiary education development.
The town hall is part of TETFund’s efforts to promote transparency and accountability while creating opportunities for stakeholders to seek clarification, share concerns and engage its leadership on issues affecting the sector.
The statement invited stakeholders across the education sector and members of the public to attend the meeting.
