Federal Government’s National Single Window (NSW) platform has processed 156,026 licences, permits and certificates since its launch on March 27, 2026.
This is as the government intensifies efforts to digitise trade procedures and improve the efficiency of import and export processes.
The Project Director of the National Single Window, Tola Fakolade, disclosed this during a press conference in Abuja yesterday, while presenting an update on the platform’s implementation, achievements and next phase of development.
Fakolade said more than 12,000 importers, customs agents, shipping lines, airlines and freight forwarders had registered on the platform, while over 8,000 users had received training.
He added that five government agencies had been fully onboarded.
According to the figures presented, the Standards Organisation of Nigeria (SON) accounted for 104,956 of the licences, permits and certificates processed, while the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) accounted for 50,622.
The platform has also processed 3,964 air and sea cargo manifests. These comprised 3,596 air cargo manifests submitted by 27 airlines and 368 sea manifests submitted by 56 shipping lines.
