IN line with its commitment of showcasing the creative abilities of children, Indomie, Nigeria’s number one noodles brand, recently held a creative exhibition at the company’s headquarters in Lagos.

The exhibition was aimed at celebrating the creative works of children who sent entries for its ‘Team up With Mom’ competition and it is geared towards strengthening the bond between mother and child.

The competition, which lasted for a month was exclusive to members of the Indomie fan Club in partnership with their mothers. The children were required to come up with exciting designs using Indomie cartons and packs. The competition recorded over 37, 000 entries.

Speaking during the exhibition, Indomie Fan Club Coordinator, Mrs. Faith Joshua, stated that the competition served as a platform to deepen the existing bond between mother and child while also exposing the creativity of the child.

She said: “The exhibition is an avenue to showcase the creative abilities of the children and to also bring out the best in them. We received over 37, 000 entries within a month. By the time we are done with the final selection process, the top three entries will be rewarded with cash prizes of 100, 000, 75, 000 and 50, 000 respectively while a lot of consolation prizes will be given out”

The Head, Public Relations and Event, Dufil Prima Foods Plc, Mr. Tope Ashiwaju, had earlier stated that Indomie is a children centric brand and will continue to support causes and activities that will help their development both mentally and physically and ensure they are happy.

The Indomie Fan Club is an initiative of Dufil Prima Foods, makers of Nigeria’s number 1 noodles brand – Indomie Instant Noodles. The club was founded in July, 2005 with the aim of creating an environment of learning, fun, excitement and bonding for children between the ages of five – 12.
