TO avert any re-occurance of the recent foiled suicide attack by unknown female teenager,  the Kano State Police Command, has perfected plan to strengthen synergy between the and members of the community.

Briefing The Guardian in Kano, the Police Public Relations ASP Magaji Musa Majiya revealed that Police in Kano have re-instituted new strategy for gathering information from members of the public.

“We are partnering more now with Mosques and Churches, especially with their security committees. We are also sensitising them on how to partner well with us,” Majiya disclosed.

He added that there has been a common security practice to places of worship, where all places of worship were advised not to let worshippers park their vehicles within 200 metres from the places of worship.

“No worshiper should also be allowed to enter into either Church of Mosque with any object.  That is what we sensitised them on,” he said.
