First Nation Aircraft Collides With Another At MMA2, Lagos

AN aircraft belonging to First Nation airline, while taxing to take off to Port Harcourt yesterday collided with another packed aircraft belonging to the same airline and at the Murtala Mohammed Airport Two (MMA2), Ikeja, Lagos.

Mr. Fan Ndubuoke, General Manager, Public Affairs of the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), while confirming the incident, said no passenger was hurt and their fares were refunded.

He added that the matter had been referred the incident to Accident Investigation Bureau (AIB) for investigation. 

Ndubuoke assured of NCAA commitment to safety and security of passengers at all times.

An Emirates aircraft, while taxiing to take off to Dubai two weeks ago, also collided with a stationary aircraft belonging to HAK Airlines. No life was also lost in that incident.
