Mbappe wants to be highest paid player in Monaco

Despite being the subject of interest from some of the biggest clubs in world football, there is still the possibility that Kylian Mbappe could decide to stay with Monaco.
However, in order to make this happen, the Monegasque side will have to commit an incredible sum of money to the teenager.

Firstly, the player’s representatives have demanded that he become the best-paid player in the Monaco squad, a title which is currently held by Falcao, who earns a net salary of €7m a year. However, it doesn’t stop there, ‘Le Parisien’ reports that there was also one more request from Mbappe’s agent.

No more and no less than €1m a month to go alongside the €7m a year, an astonishing figure for a player who has only just made his name known on the world stage.Meanwhile, Real Madrid are continuing their pursuit of the French youngster. Whilst the Spanish giants are more than capable of paying the striker’s demands and very willing to do so, Monaco are still hoping to keep the player.
