THE Lagos State Chapter of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) has commended Governor Akinwunmi Ambode on the new order issued the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) to stop the harassment and arrest of motorists on traffic related offences.

Financial Secretary of the chapter, Comrade Tokunbo Salisu Seriki, who doubles as the branch chairman of Ojodu Berger, however, charged motorists to always obey the traffic rules, noting that whoever breaks traffic rules, should be prosecuted by appropriate traffic authority.

He commended union members for their peaceful conduct during the recent delegate conference held in Abuja.
