Security Analyst urges Boko Haram to stop senseless killings

Dr Andy Solom, a Port Harcourt  based security analyst, has called on members of Boko Haram terrorist group to stop the senseless killings in the country.

Solom told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Monday in Port Harcourt that the time had come for the group to sheath their swords as terrorism was no longer in vogue.

He said that what Nigerians wanted at this point in time was rapid socio-economic development.

He reminded the insurgents that Nigerians needed love and patriotism, not destruction.

Solom commended the Federal Government and the security agencies for the success so far recorded in the fight against the insurgents.

He called on the insurgents to surrender and join the Federal government in rebuilding the areas destroyed by them.
