According to Dr. A. Adeiga, Chairman of the LOC, he said the objective of the workshop is primarily to impart knowledge of proposal writing skills in young academics that have flair for grant seeking and to give participants the opportunity to have one-on-one interaction with scholars that have secured Research Grants.
Venue for the workshop is at the College of Basic and Applied Sciences (CBAS) Big Lecture Hall of Mountain Top University, KM 12, Lagos Ibadan, Expressway, Ogun State and registration fee is N35, 000.
Prof. Elijah Ayolabi, a Professor of Geophysics and Vice-Chancellor, MTU, is Chief Host. Prof. Amos Akinwande, a Professor of Biochemistry is the Dean, College of Basic and Applied Sciences while Dr. Adesina Adeiga is the Head of Department of Biological Sciences and Chairman LOC of the three-day workshop.
