The National Orientation Agency (NOA) and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) have sought for stronger collaboration to build on the peace initiatives that would guarantee peaceful gubernatorial elections in Kogi and Bayelsa states.

The Director General of NOA, Mike Omeri made this disclosure when he paid a courtesy visit to the INEC Acting Chairman, Amina Zakari in Abuja.

Omeri said that Nigeria’s democracy was undergoing a trying period and the two organisations needed to improve on their long existing relationship to sensitise citizens on their civic responsibilities and mobilise them to contribute to the democratic process of our country.
