THE General Overseer of Christ Church of Grace, Ajangbadi, Lagos, Prophet Cornelius Adetunbi, has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to declare a one-day prayer and fasting for Nigeria, especially now that the country just marked its 55th independence anniversary.

According to him, the prayer would help the country overcome its present challenges and be among great nations of the earth.

“The Lord said we should pray for the country, the President and his administration, as well as all Nigerians. The Lord also wants President Buhari to declare a one-day prayer and fasting for the country, so that the nation’s pains and sorrows would cease,” he said.

The cleric also directed Nigerians to read the following chapters in the Bible: Psalm 51; Genesis 8:5; Nehemiah 2:10; 4; 6:15.
