Foundation awards outstanding graduates

Graduates-007A non-governmental organisation, Arise Africa Foundation (AAF), has awarded eight graduates of the 35 that took part in its maiden Rise Graduate Trainee programme. Speaking at the award ceremony, founder of AAF, Mr. Segun Akande, noted that the rate of joblessness as well as young people’s poor attitude to work has become a source of worry, hence the training programme, which will prepare young graduates to add value to their lives rather than focus on making money.

According to him, “Unemployment has become the order of the day. It is necessary for young people to acquire the right skills to help them fit into society. Young people should also be entrepreneurial in their pursuits, as being employers of labour will reduce idleness.”

“AAF is a finishing school where we offer free seminars to help people discover their purpose and career path.”
