Many youths attended the programme, which featured a panel session, where guest speakers discussed issues affecting youths and how to overcome them.
While delivering a speech on the theme, the host, Rev. (Mrs.) N.C. Ahamefula, said youths are responsible for the things that happen to them in life. She said: “Your focus determines your attraction and your attraction comes before your attention.
“Life is governed by laws and principles. For instance, the law of attraction says that like attracts like. We are responsible for bringing both positive and negative influences into our lives.
If you spend your days wallowing in regrets about the past or fears of the future, you will likely see more negativity appearing.
But if you look for the silver lining in every experience, then you will soon start seeing positivity surrounding you daily. It’s encouraging to know that you have the freedom to shape your future, steering it in ways you choose.”
