Ondo State professionals in Edo State have commended Governor Rotimi Akeredolu who just celebrated one year in office, saying his administration has brought a new lease of life to the state and its people.
   

In a statement, yesterday, the chairman of the group, Dr Samson Falana, said the last year has been one of project execution and commissioning.
  
 
“Since the inception of the Akeredolu administration, the people of Ondo State have been breathing the air of freedom, prosperity and peaceful co-existence, compared to the last administration of Mimiko.”
   

The statement said the previous administration was directionless. “When this administration came on board, it met a backlog of debts, including civil servants’ salaries running to over 10 months. But Akeredolu has offset this. We implore the people of the state to support all the good initiatives of Akeredolu, and politicians should cooperate with the governor, to take the state to a greater height.”
