
The Nigeria Basketball Federation (NBBF) DSTV League promotion play-off will dunk off on November 27, while the Division Two play-off will begin on November 15, the federation has revealed.
The Division One championship, which is the second tier of club basketball in Nigeria, annually produces the two teams that replace the two relegated teams from the DStv Premier League every year.
According to a statement by the NBBF, it will hold from November 27 to December 6, 2015, but the Division Two championship will dunk off earlier on November 15 and end on 22.
The league board revealed that they were yet to arrive at hosts for both championships, saying it was still considering bids for the Division One championship from the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja and Port Harcourt, while Enugu and Abuja have also shown interest in hosting the Division Two championship.
Last season, FCT Rocks and Delta Force gained promotion from Division One after winning the National Division One championship

24 teams from the two lower leagues are expected to battle for promotion and a chance to step up their status in Nigerian club basketball.
