Muslim Student Society of Nigeria (MSSN) Plateau State Area Unit has called on the management and Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), University of Jos Chapter to resolve their impasse and call off the ongoing strike.

University of Jos branch of ASUU had two weeks ago commenced an indefinite strike over disagreement on entitlements of its members with the management of the university.

Speaking at the inauguration of MSSN new executive in the state, MSSN State Chairman of the unit, Ustaz Muhammad Shamsuddin, who made the call yesterday in Jos said that the strike would negatively affects the academic activities of students of the institution.
