Ekiti polls: Police burst gang printing fake ballot papers
The Nigerian Police has on Monday burst a Lagos printing press where ballot papers were being printed allegedly for use during Ekiti governorship poll holding on Saturday.
This is coming amid the deployment of 30,000 policemen mandated to “deal decisively” with persons or groups that breach the law.
The election is set to hold with 34 candidates officially listed by the Independent Electoral Commission (INEC).
However, the poll is expected to be a fierce battle between the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
