A female Lagos State traffic warden has been rewarded by a resident for her hard work and dedication to duty, an online blog, Bloom Gist, has reported. The female warden who has been dedicated to controlling traffic along Yaba/Akoka axis has performed her duty to the admiration of road users in the area.

On Tuesday, her conscientious work paid off when she was rewarded by a kind-hearted man, who surprised her with a hamper. “One thing about her is that she does this strenuous and thankless job with a permanent smile on her face,” the resident, who pleaded anonymity, said.

The kind gesture is coming after the General Manager of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA), Bashir Braimah, urged Lagosians to see officials as fellow human beings and to treat them with respect.
