UNIZIK, FUNAI Resumes Monday, Begins Lectures

UI-studentAs Nnamdi Azikwe University (UNIZIK), Awka embarked on mid-semester break for the yuletide period, the management has announced the resumption date for all students of the institution.

According to a press release by the Director, Information and Public Relations/Chief Protocol Officer of the institution, Dr. Emmanuel C. Ojukwu, academic activities will resume in the university on Monday, January 4, as such all students are to return to their hostels on Sunday, January 3, preparatory to official commencement of lectures on Monday. All staff are expected to be at their duty posts.

“Students should note that 75 percent attendance to lecture is a condition before being admitted into any examination in the University.

Also, the Federal University, Ndufu Alike Ikwo (FUNAI) has announced the resumption date for students of the university for the 2015/2016 academic session following the Christmas and New Year holiday.

The management of the University in statement said it wishes to inform all students, members of staff — academic and non-academic, parents/sponsors of students as well as members of the general public that first-semester lectures continues on Monday, January 4.

“As such, students are expected on campus on Saturday, January 2. Concerned parties are to note that this date will be adhered to and as such all students are expected back on campus on or before this date.”
