Super Eagles’ midfielder, Ogenyi Onazi, on December 29, 2015, married his heartthrob, Sandra Ogunsuyi, in a private ceremony in Lagos.

Onazi, who plays for Lazio in the Italian Serie A, and Sandra tied the knot at the marriage registry in Ikoyi.

They were joined by friends and family, including former Super Eagles striker, Ayodele Makinwa, plus the groom’s brother, Thompson Onazi and close friend, Ifada Ighodalo.

“I thank God for such a special day. Getting married is a milestone in the life of a man; to get married to a woman who you love and who loves you makes it even more special,” Onazi said.

The bride, who is a Public Administration graduate, wore a low-cut white lace gown and hat for the ceremony. A reception followed at an exclusive gathering.

The pair, who have been engaged for a year, smiled for photographers as they left the wedding venue.
