Executive Vice Chairman of the NCC, Prof. Umar Garba Danbatta, disclosed this yesterday during the 99th edition of Consumer Outreach Programme (COP) in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital.
Danbatta, who was represented at the event by the Director, Consumer Affairs Bureau of the organisation, Mrs. Felicia Onwuegbuchulam, said the anti corruption drives of the government must be holistic and felt in the nation’s telecommunications sector.
For the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu Gambari ,who was represented by the ‘Danmadami’ of Ilorin, Alhaji Sheu Abdulgafar, “consumers should decently use the telecommunications channels as purveyors of authentic news.
