Speaking at the event to mark Iwaya Community Day 2018, founder of the group, Olubunmi Oloyede said her NGO brought the screening to address people’s health challenges in the community.
On sexual violence Oloyede said: “We work with Nigeria Police to ensure that when a girl child is molested or raped the perpetrator will never go free.
Once a girl-child is raped we take over the case and proceed to court.
Rape cases are on the increase today, therefore we support the victims to ensure that people stop rape in the communities and society at large.”
