Cleric faults Buhari’s anti-graft war

Buhari’s Inaugural SpeechTHE Bishop of Bomadi and Apostolic Vicar of Bomadi Vicarage, Bishop Hyacinth Egbebo, has advised President Mohammadu Buhari to respect rule of law in his anti-corruption crusade.

Speaking in Bomadi, Delta State at the weekend, the clergyman decried the way and manner the President was prosecuting the fight.

“It seems there is impunity in the way, the rule of law is being exercised. I am very sad because we expected something better than what we are seeing. Thank God, there is a drive against corruption, that is the way forward but the way to do it is not to really denigrate the dignity of the human person.

“Even if somebody has done something wrong, there is an acceptable and laid down rules to go about it and that is what we prefer to follow,” Egbebo stated.
