Native Media Unveils New Produc
After weeks of working on locations, Native Media Limited, a proudly Nigerian company, is set to air two of its latest series Zone 222 and Till You Are 16 on Africa Magic channel in the first quarter of 2016.
According to the CEO of the production outfit, Rogers Ofime, between March and November of 2015, Native Media produced the two television series set in Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife in Osun State. Aside for entertainment, Zone 222 serves as platform for teaching young people morals and the culture of hard work. The cast include Kunle Bamtefa, Anthony Igwe, Patrick Diabuah, Eden Attai, Tomiwasage Kukoyi, Papa Sam, Vannesa Ogboru and Jayeola Muyiwa.
Till You Are 16, on the other hand, is a trans-national story that focuses on the ordeal of a young Nigerian lady living in Canada in search of her identity and love while still trying to build a career. Shot in Canada and Nigeria, the show is intriguing and captivating. The cast of Till You Are 16 are drawn from Canada and Nigeria and they include Kunle Bamtefa, Tana Adelana, Queen Amina, Barry Janzen, Rick Gensiorek, Rachel Molloy, Omatta Udalor.
“We at Native Media are excited about 2016 because a lot of great media contents will be coming out from the company, Ofime informed,” Ofime said.
Native Media is saddled with the responsibility of creating different genres of movies, sitcoms and series that have effective delivery, while adhering to strict deadline. The company had successfully produced Hotel Majestic, a widely watched telenovela in Africa and The Johnsons Family, a popular drama series on DSTV.
