Some Ekiti Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) stakeholders, yesterday, appointed senator representing Ekiti South, and Senate Minority Leader, Mrs. Biodun Olujimi the party’s leader in the state.
They also passed a vote of no confidence on Gboyega Oguntuase-led State Working Committee, calling on the party’s National Chairman, Chief Uche Secondus to dissolve the executive and set up a caretaker committee to pilot the party’s affairs.
A communiqué at the end of the stakeholders’ meeting in Ado-ekiti said Olujimi was made leader because she is the most top
ranking elected official in the state and southwest.
