LARA Owoeye Wise, the Deputy Head of Presentation, African Independent Television (AIT), is presently in a joyous mood, and the reason is not far-fetched.

She was recently appointed as Special Assistant (Media) to the Deputy Speaker, House of Representatives, Yusuf Suleiman Lasun.
Since the news hit town, Owoeye has continued to receive congratulatory messages from family, friends and fans around the country.

Mrs. Ibim Seminitari, the Acting Managing Director of Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) in her message, said: “I’m here girl to throw in whatever support you need. Go on and excel. The world is waiting.”

Wise, a graduate of Humanities from University of Jos before joining AIT, has previously worked in The Punch newspaper, The News magazine, Silverbird Television and defunct MINAJ Television.She will be saddled with the media management of Lasun.
