The wealth of a child of God is guaranteed on a platform of covenant and not just a mere promise. It is an irreversible covenant of prosperity because God placed His life on it. It is God’s design that every child of His should exercise dominion in finances. We should put money where it belongs and money should not rule over us.

God, after creating man impacted His blessing upon him and charged him to be fruitful (Genesis 1:28). To “be fruitful” is one of the genetic makeups of man that empowers him to exercise dominion on earth. “Be” is a command to obey and not a suggestion. “Be” is a demand on potentials God had already deposited in man. God cannot demand from you what He Has not given you capacity to be. He has wired in us the capacity to be fruitful. When you are productive, you are keeping the law and you will be happy… “…But he that keepeth the law, happy is he.” ~ Proverbs 29:18b.

Have you accepted financial pressure, lack, debt and even poverty as a normal part of life? When it comes to money, do you feel like you have financial dominion and authority over your finances? Or do bills, debt and work-related troubles seem to rule you? I have good news! No matter your situation, you can have all God desires for you in the area of finances, and you can take financial dominion. You can be debt free, live in overflow, give extravagantly, and rise to new levels in your career. God gives you power to get wealth because He made a covenant with you to do so (Deuteronomy 8:18).

Be you mindful of this covenant rights: Your case is different. Be mindful of the fact that you are legally separated from poverty as a child of God. In Luke 5, there was a general market failure and the fishermen were all gone out from their ships and washing their nets. Jesus entered into one of the ships, which was Peter’s (A Child of Covenant) and instructed Peter to launch his nets into the sea for a catch.

An interesting point to note is that there were other ships and there was a general market failure but Jesus stepped into Peter’s ship. Why? Because he is a child of covenant. Again, Peter filled his ship first before beckoning on other business partners to come and fill theirs. As a covenant child nobody, you shall enjoy God’s favour in harsh economic situations. Job 22:29, “When men are cast down, then thou shalt say, There is lifting up.”

People don’t prosper just because of hard work alone; prosperity comes from the intangible realm, “…for it is God that giveth thee power to get wealth.” Deuteronomy 8:7, “For the LORD thy God bringeth thee into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains and depths that spring out of valleys and hills;” Verse 9 says, “A land wherein thou shalt eat bread without scarceness, thou shalt not lack any thing in it …”

Beloved, we may all live in the same country but the “covenant” places you in a different geographical location called “Good Land,” where you shall eat without scarcity and a place of no lack.I pray that every financial difficulty you are going through be terminated in Jesus Name, Amen. I welcome you to the “Good Land,” a land where God Himself waters with “rain of Heaven.”
Today’s Nugget: The “covenant” places you in a different geographical location
Prayer: I shall dwell forever in the good land where there is no scarcity
