Enugu Rangers lost 2-0 at Warri Wolves last weeken to complete their pre-season build-up to the new season.

Wolves played the game after Sporting Praia Cruz from Sao Tome and Principe failed to honour a CAF Champions League preliminary round match on Sunday.

Sikiru Alimi put Wolves ahead in the first half, before new signing Bernard Okorowanta doubled the host team’s lead after the interval.

Wolves wasted several chances that would have handed them an even more convincing win.

Rangers will open their campaign of the new league season away at Kano Pillars this Sunday, while Wolves  will be guests to Heartland FC.
